The Carrozzeria G.A.M.C Baldi of
the brothers Elio and Giovanni Baldi was a well-known workshop in San Remo,
Italy.
From the beginning of
the seventies and up to 1992, the Baldi brothers were responsible for the
Abarth racing
department, also following the development of all the racing cars of the Fiat department.
In 1973 the company
presented at the Paris Motor Show a microcar on a Fiat 500 base being only 2.15 meters long
called a Baldi BB5 als know as Frog.
The car was produced in
about 300 specimens until 1975 and is today a rarity among classic cars.
The Frog project was
eventually sold to Willam, a well-known distributor of microcars in France.
